Good Dog is owned and operated by Alice Pickersgill a Hebden Bridge resident, labrador owner, and animal lover.

“After the lock-down lifted, I decided to turn my passion for animals into a career.

Now, as an in-house mobile dog groomer, I bring my grooming services directly to your home, setting up all my equipment on-site. I enjoy building relationships and trust with nervous dogs and believe there is no one-size-fits-all approach to grooming, every groom is as unique as the dogs are.

My goal is to ensure every grooming session is a positive experience for your furry friend.”

Good Dog can come to you anywhere in the Hebden Bridge area. A small travel fee of £2 per additional mile after the 2 mile radius of Hebden Bridge is added for appointments further afield.

Alice is Canine First Aid Certified, having completed an in-person course with Dr Sophie Bell from Animal Love Pet First Aid in October 2025.
